Our minds are made up of two parts, the conscious, that only has a certain amount of information for immediate access, and the subconscious, that stores all our beliefs and experience and functions automatically.

This inability to change our actions is because we must change our subconscious beliefs that drive our actions first. The subconscious is the unthinking part of the mind: it functions automatically, without reason or logic. Everything we have ever experienced, said, heard, smelled or seen is stored away in the subconscious, and these memories effect how we live our lives without our conscious awareness.

 These desired changes can be achieved quickly, and permanently, with hypnotherapy or slowly, and sometimes only for a short period of time, with perseverance, as the subconscious and the conscious battle it out, with invariably the subconscious winning!
